The time has come. One of the most acclaimed hip-hop groups of the last decade, the North Carolina duo of Phonte and Big Pooh, better known as Little Brother, are set to release their fourth and final album. They’ve represented the essence of hip-hop with vivid lyrics and fantastic production, but they’ve also seen more than a fair share of ups and downs. Expectations are high for LeftBack and fans don’t want this to come to an end, but after this LB take off to focus on other endeavors.
Looks like fans of North Carolina duo Little Brother will get one more full-length before calling it quits for good. Phonte and Rapper Big Pooh — sans 9th Wonder – will be releasing LeftBack, the group’s fourth album, on April 20th. The LP will include production from Khrysis, Denaun Porter, Zo!, Symbolyc One and first time Little Brother contributors J. Bizness and King Karnov. Lyrical assistance will come from Torae, Truck North, Jozeemo and Justus League MC’s Chaundon and Median. Peep the press release for more info.
