2012 was a big year for the likes of Hyperdub and RVNG, courtesy of two evocative artists aforementioned above in the title of this post. Two different LPs were released to massive acclaim, providing different perspective and experiences but similarly, making an unforgettable impact on listeners and critics alike. When one would see the likes of Laurel Halo and Julia Holter live, the experiences would be different, immersing themselves in different facets of pieces of an album experience, perhaps surpassing the original product due to its natural warmth and impact.
