My Goodbye

My Goodbye

As most of you have heard, tonight is my last night in the United States. By tomorrow, I will be taking my first steps as a Peace Corp Volunteer in Samoa. I was never good at saying ‘goodbye’ but I just wanted to leave this one quote behind…

‘I never thought I’d live to see eighteen. Isn’t that dumb? Every day, I look in the mirror and say, ‘What? You still here? Man!’ … Like even today, I woke up this morning and the sun was shining and everything was nice and I thought this is going to be one terrific day, so you better live it up. Because tomorrow, maybe you’ll be nothing.’

-James Dean,
Rebel without a Cause

Thank you everybody for the past few years…
