‘To me, making a tape is like writing a letter – there’s a lot of erasing and rethinking and starting again. A good compilation tape, like breaking up, is hard to do. While tied at my desk for the first portion of the day, I made it to Downtown LA in time to listen in on Panel #3: The Cult of Collaboration. The subject alone made my ears perk, but it was the list of speakers that really made me anxious to listen in: Hiroshi Fujiwara (often said to be the Godfather of streetwear), David Wilson (Creative Director over at Kangol Headwear), jeffstaple (Founder/Designer of Staple Design), and Michael Kuhle (Product Development Director at Lomo)… quite the impressive group of people right?
