Pharrell has been depicted as a cartoon character on more than one occasion. Now the ‘00 icon kicks of the new decade by writing the original music to the upcoming animated film Despicable Me. The film features the voices of Steve Carell, Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Will Arnett, Kristen Wiig and Danny McBride. The night began with some minor complications, such as trying to fix my dying camera. I arrived at The Wiltern and when I was escorted to my seat, the time window for taking photos was closed (first three songs). Twas frustrating, and more frustrating was the fact that I had a perfect, unobstructed view.
