STREAM Jacques Renault’s Remix of Seun Kuti

Last year Seun Kuti and Egypt 80 released From Africa With Fury: Rise, a Brian Eno produced album that won him the Apple Doesn’t Fall Far From the Tree Award.

After a string of firey performances alongside members of his father’s band at SXSW and Coachella, Seun has released a remix EP with a stellar cast of producers: Ron Trent, Jacques Renault, JD Twitch, Falty DL, and Spoek Mathambo.

DJ Wool Mix (MP3)

Glen Brady is mostly known throughout the music world as one half of the dance-friendly duo; The Glass. But his solo moniker, Wool, has been making rounds for his mixes, as his awareness towards the current electronic climate has trickled out into something contrasting from his work in The Glass. He’s done a mix exclusively for URB (available on his Souncloud down below) that highlights the world of slowed-down dance, building up to house, and rounding off things with some banging techno and bass-centric mayhem.
