We’ve had a week to recover, and we still can’t get over how much fun the second annual IndiOa2i2 party was at Coachella. From ex-Smiths bassist Andy Rourke and Macy Gray to Danny Masterson and Yelawolf, DJs and MCs rocked our party from Friday til Sunday while party guests Z-Trip, Rosario Dawson and Katy Perry enjoyed the flawless desert weather.

Put the two biggest acts of the year (can’t deny it), throw ‘em on a stage and sell tickets to benefit LIFEBEAT’s efforts to raise HIV/AIDS awareness and you have a guaranteed sell-out and jaw-dropping awesome show. The show is this Saturday, Sep 12th in NYC with DJ Clinton Sparks holding it down.
Um, can we get them to work on a track togehter? That would be a.m.a.z.i.n.g.

Coachella is always our favorite weekend of the year, but 2009 stepped it up several notches with our first IndiOasis party going off listening distance from the legendary polo fields. Where to begin. When not rocking out to DJs like Adam Freeland, Jus Ske, Jokers of the Scene and Skeet Skeet and quenching our bottomless thirst with beverages provided by Vitamin Water, Tito’s Vodka, Asahi Beer, Colt 45, Cafe Bustelo and Alize, we were getting fitted by Onitsuka Tiger, conducting interviews with iMeem and scoring phones from Pantech. Not to mention free ice cream from Coconut Bliss, organic food from The Green Truck, massages from the Sustainable Living Carnival and haircuts from The Kutting Room. Big thanks to The Good Life for lending a green hand, Loudcrowd for the givaway, and to all the partners and partiers who made IndiOasis a weekend to remember. See you all in 2010 for IndiOa2is.
