Radiohead Live @ Henry Fonda Video Download (Video)

At the beginning of 2010, in the face of the horrible tragedy in Haiti, reluctant rock gods Radiohead (who happened to be in Los Angeles recording) decided to throw a benefit concert at Hollywood’s Henry Fonda Music Box. In an ultra-intimate crowd of 863 people, we watched Jonny Greenwood, up-close and personal, manipulate sound in a million ways. Just don’t forget to donate something to Oxfam while you’re at it. Haiti still needs …

Radiohead For Haiti @ Henry Fonda Music Box (Review) (Video)

Four days ago, Radiohead announced they’d be playing a show at the Henry Fonda Theatre—a venue with an official capacity of under 2,000—to help raise funds for relief efforts in Haiti. The tickets would be made available auction-style through Ticketmaster, with all the proceeds going to benefit Oxfam International. The minimum bid for a pair of tickets started off at $200, and by the time the auction closed, anything less than $1,000 had you coming up short. To say it was the hottest ticket in town would have been an understatement, and the stars were definitely out in full effect. (Ed. note: Apparently Wilmer Valderrama has quite the ticket stub collection, Charlize Theron likes her Grey Goose with a bit of cranberry, and Daniel Craig is way shorter than he looks.)

We make an effort to stay sporting the freshest kicks, always updating our closets with the newest and most exclusive. Well today is the day to really re-evaluate your situation and begin to recycle those shoes by donating them to Soles4Souls. Why is this relevant right now? Because Soles4Souls donates to people in over 125 countries, including Kenya, Thailand, Nepal and the United States, free of charge to people in need, regardless of race, religion, class, or any other criteria.
