Gang Colours – In Your Gut Like A Knife Remixes (MP3)

With his debut album set to be one of the early highlights of 2012, Gang Colours pops up with a remix package derived from his “In Your Gut Like A Knife” EP, released back in June 2011 via Brownswood Recordings. New Film Focuses on Dubsteps Future 

A few weeks ago, while watching megastar DJ Z-Trip rock a tailgate party for a few UCLA Bruins fans, the jocked excitedly told me that a sweet freshman girl, big cheeks painted with yellow and blue team logos, requested he play some dubstep. As the crowd of clearly mainstream coolege football fans went bonkers to the low end beats, I was struck that this genre’s time in the “phenomenon” spotlight is almost up.

A new film, Bassweight, is coming out in the UK this month. With dubstep superstars Mary Anne Hobbs, Skream, Benga and Kode 9 all partipating, the film is doubtlessly a credible look at the music’s near decade-long history. Goldie Shoots Up Graffiti Billboard (Video)

If you’ve been wondering why Goldie hasn’t been rinsing out hs rewinds to the massifs too much as of late, it’s because the drum & bass icon adn sporadic film star has been showing off his skills with a spray can for the Kane & Lynch 2 video game roll-out. Who knew Goldie had such marketable skills? Things get really interesting when some realism gets added with the art work being finished off by some live ammunition gun fire.
