Darren Emerson Interview w/DJ Download

If you are scratching your head wondering exactly who Darren Emerson is let me clarify. Darren was the third member of Underworld from roughly 1993 until 2000 when he decided to persue his DJing career of which he has done quite well with. Darren helped propel Underworld into the spotlight with the 1996 smash hit “Born Slippy” which most people know from the movie Trainspotting. Darren went on to fill dancefloors around the globe, start a record label and drop a few choice mixes via the Global Underground compilation series. This is a top notch interview that gives you a bit of insight on where he has been and what is up next for this prodigy of european electronic music. You can find it HERE.

This one straddles the line between progressive and techno, with one of those epic build-ups that comes straight out of ‘90s era progressive house – listen for that “French Kiss” styled synth play. The remix comes from Majik Johnson, who funks things up while maintaining the basic build of the original, making this single very well-rounded for a wide range of DJs.

Crash Jack is out now on Global Underground.

Here’s a MINI INTERVIEW WITH DARREN EMERSON:

How would describe the sound of your new single Crash Jack?

It’s made for the dance floor and is designed to be a real moment in my sets when …
