Noise Pop Giveaway: Giraffage x Nosaj Thing @ California Academy of Science Nightlife (MP3)

In conjunction with Giraffage’s newest drop, Needs, and this year’s Noise Pop Festival in San Francisco, we’re pleased to announced that we are giving away a pair of tickets to the Giraffage x Nosaj Thing event!

As part of the SF NightLife series at the California Academy of Sciences and this year’s Noise Pop, this event is looking to provide our readers with more than just dope music.  In celebration of Noise Pop’s 21st Birthday, the NightLife event series is featuring a ‘Now That You’re 21, Let’s Talk Liquor’ presentation, looking at the origins of booze behind the bar.

The contest rules are simple just like this post on the URB Magazine FB page or tweet the following:

Giraffage – Needs via @AlphaPup Records! (MP3)

Newly signed to Alpha Pup Records, dream pop sample smith, Giraffage has graced our ears with his new release, entitled Needs.

Having been first introduced to SF based Giraffage (aka Charlie Yin) through his other project Robot Science and his most recent collab with fellow producer XXYYXX, he has consistently shown a deft hand at finessing otherworldly sample progressions over well articulated drums.  His newest release once again delivers the goods — sticking to the tried and true recipe that has proven him to be a top chef in the production game.  Needs has more than a few pieces that are destined to end up on weekend soundtracks or daily listening playlists the world over.  Check it for yourself after the break…

Also appearing on the label’s Kitsuné America compilation later this month, “Even Though” is out as an EP single on the …
