ATL’s own Boog Brown links up with Seattle’s Def Dee for his remix to Boog Brown’s song “Blink” which is from her upcoming “The Brown Study Remixes” album dropping December 20th via Mello Music Group. “The Brown Study Remixes” is a remix project to her critically acclaimed 2010 album “Brown Study” produced entirely by Apollo Brown. The album allowed Boog Brown to be included as one of iTunes’s Top 10 New Hip Hop Artists and allowed her to rip shows from SXSW to A3C Festival.

“The Brown Study Remixes” features production from 14KT, Dunc of DTMD, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Has-Lo and many others, while featuring a brand new song produced by Apollo Brown.

In a way, Declaime has done something special. He has reached a level where listeners who are relatively familiar with him and his music either love him or hate him – and this is quite understandable. Part of Declaime’s purpose as a musician is to challenge the status quo. In other words, what you hear on a Declaime (or Dudley Perkins) album is not what you will hear anywhere else. And it’s this degree of innovation that leads him to both his highs and his lows.
