Have you been keeping up with all the SS ’11 shows? I could not handle all that ’70′s stuff going on in NYC, even if critics were ‘in awe’. Zac Posen showing in Paris garnered such a low response rate but I think he’s right in saying maybe NY doesn’t get him. I feel like even if his company isn’t as profitable today he can make a killing becoming a household name like Michael Kors. Zac could do so much with all that personality and clothes that women love. Love you Prada, not so much Burberry this season. It’s like we’re all not putting our thinking caps on this season just randomly recycling trends that haven’t even died out at Forever 21. Oh yeah, Kanye’s new song has to do with the fashion world. Throwing out model names and how …
Another week has gone by, what a nice week too. Then I remembered that G.O.O.D Friday was coming and then I was like, “yay, maybe this will be the week these song collections get redeemed.” I should have not had such high hopes. I won’t even won’t go into my full speech because it’s the weekend and why send out negative energy. Go enjoy your weekend, have some fun, forget the sadness in the world and dance! If you like the song enjoy it, but I feel like I’m one of the few people out there in the blogosphere who is not taken by these songs. Also, why do I keep writing about these songs? Well, why not?

Kanye takes us down nostalgia drive with this new song from his G.O.O.D Friday series. It features Common, Pusha T, Kid Cudi, Big Sean and Charlie Wilson and they all work together! So much more cohesive, together, simpler and fresh. This track seems like something out off College Dropout which is a nice nod back to both Kanye’s Chicago days but also a time where it was all a bit more stripped down. Not that I don’t like his new sounds but I think variety is the spice of life. I dig it, this song makes me feel like I’m driving down with high school friends watching the foliage line the city streets, just having a good time, relaxing, breathing etc.
