A few weeks ago, we got ourselves into a bit of a tizzy when rapper Stranger Days sampled Fugazi on the track “Not Playin.” And since no good meme goes unduplicated, you could have guessed that within no time there’d be this project by Minneapolis producers and MCs Cecil Otter & Swiss Andy, who spent a good year combining the DC post-hardcore legends instrumental bits with the Wu-Tang Clan’s acapellas to create Wugazi. The mixtape, 13 Chambers, just dropped today. The result is every ’90s cool kid’s wet dream. We like this so much, we’re doing everything we can not to call it a mash-up (ooops!)
