Treasure Fingers Interview

Treasure Fingers had a lot to be thankful for in ‘08, with the icing on the cake being his recent signing to A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold label:

‘I had quite a few mutual friends but what actually brought it all together was A-Trak sending me a MySpace message saying something like ‘hey! I like your music and run a label, are you interested (in) releasing some records with us?’. Since then, I’ ve become good friends with A-Trak, Nick Catchdubs and the rest of the Fool’ s Gold family; they’ re all really good people.’

Fingers also explains, in his interview with Killahbeez.com, how he got the weird name, what eras and genres of music influence him most, what gear he uses to sculpt his beats, and what upcoming projects we can expect from him now that …

Kathryn Frazier: Tortoise & The Hair

Be it Justice or Definitive Jux, Chicago's Biz 3 does publicity big

Kathryn Frazier had really, really bad hair in the ’80s. The Chicago-based Biz 3 is arguably the most prevalent PR firm in independent …

This DC native has been rising the ranks with unbelievable speed, going from local opener to global headliner within a couple short years with his infectious blend of Bmore, hip-hop, 80s and mash-ups. Fresh off touring with the likes of Kanye and Kid Sister, Tittsworth is now focusing on upcoming album 12 Steps which he hopes will be a chance for him to spread his wings beyond the world of blog-friendly remixes. URB sat down with the party jam savant about finally being on the radar, 12 Steps and his strange addiction to adventure eating.

Hey! How’s Asia treating you?
I’m freezing my ass off at the Jia hotel in Hong Kong. I have my Hong Kong debut tomorrow …
