Eighteen DJs from around the world will descend upon the Windy City to battle in the world’s premier DJ competition. ?uestlove, Z-Trip , Jazzy Jeff, and Gaslamp Killer are among the list of headliners and judges who will perform and preside over the weeklong event series. Green Label Sound, the label belonging to Mountain Dew, has just announced the lineup to their official SXSW showcase happening on Friday, March 16th. This year’s headliner is the inimitable Juicy J, along with Mac Miller, Rac, Star Slinger, and Flosstradamus. Fool’s Gold Announces ‘Vol. 1′ CD Compilation

It’s hard to belive that Fool’s Gold, the NYC label run by DJ pals A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs, is only three years old. So while it might be premature to refer to the imprint as “seminal” it’s hard to underestimate it’s impact on music over these scant past 36 months.

To celebrate, Fool’s Gold is releasing their first ever CD compilation on October 25th via the highly exclusive Opening Ceremony boutiques in New York, LA and Tokyo.
