If you were in the building last week for the legendary Hip Hop Hannukah at SOBs there were so many awesome things to remember.
Latkes from Action Bronson, Malice from the Clipse kicking it in the crowd, Paul Rosenberg scoping out the scene, Joell Ortiz rapping about his nisaan, honda and chevys, and Kid Daytona, Maffew Ragazino and the Astronomical Kid all representing in what was a “hip Jewish representation.” If you saw the entire show, Kosha Dillz was rapping about everything under the sun from tap dancers to kicking flows in hebrew and spanish. Peter Rosenberg, the legendary morning show host of hot 97 alongside Cipha Sounds and Kay Foxx, has combined with SOB’S to present Hip Hop Hannukah, This party only costs 15 dollars but is free with brining a toy of equal or great value. Expect epic performances from Stones Throw’s latest signee Homeboy Sandman, The Kid Daytona, Maffew Ragazino and Joell Ortiz. Ofcourse you can’t forget the token Jewish rapper of the evening, Kosha Dillz, who seems to be only Jewish guy on the stage next to the ‘Berg besides fellow Ashkanazi Action Bronson.
