Karen Dreijer Andersson recently embarked on a solo project called Fever Ray. Andersson is know for being half of the duo that made up The Knife. With only one song streaming on the bands myspace and a record release date set for Mar 2009 fans eagerly await its arrival.
‘I hope that my newly found live band will make it to the stages next year. We are rehearsing and building something beautiful and brilliant.’ said Anderson in a press release. There is already a video for the new bands first single ‘If I had a Heart’ streaming on the bands myspace page.
‘If I had a Heart’ was also released via the digital universe today! The full length Fever Ray Album has a U.S. release date set for Mar 18, 2009.
