Movement Detroit Announces Set Times

Detroit’s annual techno music gathering, Movement, has announced the set times for over 100 performers who will bring every varience of electronic music to Detroit’s waterfront on Memorial Day weekend. The festival, now in it’s 12th year, remains a must-experience destination for electronic music fans around the world, offering up a mix of big name international DJ talent with the heartiest helping of homegrown Detroit techno found anywhere in the world.

It also offers the best value for money of any major music festival, with pre-sale one day passes going for $35 (on sale now) and 3-day passes still a mere $60 (until Saturday when they jump to a highly reasonable $75).

Carl Craig To Make Historic ‘69′ Performance at Movement

Promoters Paxahau have announced more talent has been added to the 2011 Detroit Movement Festival, including the first ever live performance by Carl Craig under his 69 guise. Though not as well known as Craig’s work under his own name, as well as Paperclip People and Innerzone Orchestra, many of the techno legend’s most infamouse tracks were recorded under the 69 name.
