“Fiyah” is really quite the understatement when two of my favorite Latin bands get together on one track. Nova from Pacha Massive remixes Bomba Estereo’s huge summer hit “Fuego” into an intricately layered yet still blithe track.The original song’s integrity isn’t lost on Nova, who amps the bass up, but, even so, Li’s vocals don’t get overpowered. The walls are sweating.
Us3 producer Geoff Wilkinson recorded this nice little collection of classic and modern soul and funk music, including new tunes by his own group whose new album stop.think.run dropped last week.

Last summer Skinny B and I enjoyed banging this YouTube clip featuring Los (a new rapper outta Baltimore) bodying Lil Wayne’s ‘A Milli’ record for what ultimately was the last ‘Milli’ remix we’d ever listen to.
