Squarepusher has been riding the Jaco Pastorius slap-bass shtick for a few albums now—and I’ll admit it’s kinda worn out it’s welcome—but this new single off his upcoming Shobaleader album for Ed Banger has some focus we’ve not heard from Mr. Jenkins in a minute. And of course, since it’s Ed Banger, Mr. Oizo gives the whole thing a more electro dance floor polish.
