Reports are coming in that DJ Mehdi of Ed Banger Records has passed away at the age of 34. No official word from from the label has ben issued, but artists including Bob Cornelius Rifo of Bloody Beetroots and King Britt have posted Tweets confirming his passing. …MORE

A new song by some of our favorite frenchies got an airing this weekend in Los Angeles. Busy P dropped a new tune by Justice during his set at HARD Summer. The tune seems to veer towards the more poppy side of the duo—probably best exhibited by their now legendary Fabric Rejected Mix which debuted on URB way back in 2008.
Ed Banger Records also announced more details today about Justice’s second album, titled Audio, Video, Disco, which is due out October 25th. You can hear the nameless new tune, and try to match it with the album tracklist after the jump.

Plenty of rolla-boogie bounce on this version of Breakbot‘s “Fantasy” ft. Ruckazoid by NYC disco connoisseur Jacques Renault. Wonder what music will accompany the great rollerblading revival of 2018? 2 Unlimited? We suspect Ed Banger will have the soundtrack sorted.
