Ulrich Troyer’s Favorite Stompboxes & Effects Units + EXCLUSIVE Track (MP3)

Things are always rooted in peculiarity when it comes to Ulrich Troyer, the Innsbruck-born, Austrian-raised producer/composer/artist. Whether its performing his own music or as a part of The Vegetable Orchestra, Ulrich does things in the most original way imaginable. His latest LP, Songs For William on Mala’s Deep Medi Musik imprint, is part one of a trilogy of experimental dub projects between Troyer and the label, accompanied by a comic book with each release (featuring William, the guitar pedal protagonist). To commemorate the release and comic book, we chatted with Ulrich about some of his favorite pieces of kit, along with the inspiration for some of his characters in his comic book.
