Holy Ghost! New Track and LCD Soundsystem Remix (MP3)

It’s nice when you can see a group slowly bubble up to the top. Holy Ghost! made a pretty serious statement with their first track, “Hold On” which still holds up in many a DJ set. Then they got down with Arthur Baker for the video to “I Will Come Back” and did some smart remixes for Friendly Fires and Cut Copy. Now they’re ready to double down with a new cut of their own, “Say My Name” and a full EP (hard to believe, their first), Static on the Wires.

Oh yeah, and the duo is gonna finally get live on tour this summer opening for LCD Soundsystem and company. And they’ve issued a remix of Murphy’s divisive lead single “Drunk Girls” which is sure to be loved by everyone who rolled their eyes at the original. In other words, …

I just can’t get enough of James Murphy. I like how this video did not take the easy route and feature, well, drunk girls. LCD is a little more sophisticated than that treatment.
