First Track from Drake Album – “Fireworks” (Video)

Drake’s Thank Me Later has moved to a June 15th release date, but you can listen and watch the first track produced by Noah “40″ Shebib. Still pumped-up with bravado, October’s very own is talking about the same things (money, fame) and it doesn’t sound fresh. Clearly the expectations on the new album are through the roof, but sheesh, I’d rather listen to “Fear”–no 4th of July fireworks.

RZA, Q-Tip, Clipse and Drake Reportedly Working On Kanye Album

SOHH.COM

Fuse TV’s, Toure had a conversation with an individual who received a sneak peek at the rapper’s new project and got wind of some DOPE information. According to Toure, RZA, Q-Tip and Pete Rock have all contributed to Yeezy’s new effort. I sincerely hope this means no more auto-tune. Auto-Tune on a Pete Rock would make my stomach turn upside down. It’s also been said that Pusha T from the Clipse and Drake have taken trips down to Hawaii (that’s where he’s creating the new album) to assist Ye with the new project. (BET’s Sound Off)

Drake feat. The Dream – “Shut it Down” (MP3)

This leak off Drizzy’s upcoming Thank Me Later is produced by Omen and features The Dream. It’s not the final version yet, but the slow jam starts off like a better version of “HoustonAtlantaVegas” and is similarly an anthem (of sorts) for the ladies. Yet, it’s a bit watered-down from what the track could have been like.
