We might be nicely settled into 2012, but that doesn’t mean there’s not room for one more Best of 2011 list, especially when that list comes from DJ Premier. Two of the most hypered artists of the past few years (with rhyming names no less), it seemed inevitable that someone would mash-up James Blake and Drake eventually. So props to BombĂ© and Mr. Caribbean for jumping to the front of the line on this one. There’s always been a slight lack of energy with these two sleepy stars, and this marriage is one that actually increases the interesting factor for all those involved.
