In need of a quick pick me to get over the Monday Blues? Take a peek at Gavin Turek’s official video and download for her newest single, Let Me Go.
Steeped in a bit of retro-nostalgia, Gavin takes on her reputation of emoting energy a la Tina Turner to heart. Her newest track and video is styled with a sort of flair akin to Turner’s work during the 80′s; moreover, Gavin’s take on the pop genre is infused with her own brand of charisma and flair for performance.
Turek’s been on radar for more than a minute now, having been discovered by ‘Brainfeeder’s First Lady’ TOKiMONSTA (more on this in a later post) and having made waves on BBC’s Annie Mac show as a result of a …
As the moments of his headlining performance at this past Paradiso neared its inevitable climax, Kaskade dropped a doozy on a crowd already reeling from the previous turn of his set (and those before). Awesomely enough, the group worked with us in dropping an exclusive premiere of one of their new works.
Fineshrine is a double win — it’s one of our favorite Purity Ring tracks and Jeffares’ take leaves a hauntingly romantic air behind it. The band’s signature indie romanticism paired with a stripped down acoustic arrangement breathes a new kind of life into the original Purity Ring effort. To simply say that the track is …
