Headlining The Do LaB’s Lightning in a Bottle festival this Memorial Day weekend are Bassnectar and The Glitch Mob, returning to roots going back to 2007 when each act first appeared on the Lightning in a Bottle lineup and both the artists as well as the festival were beginning to find their voice and audience.

And similarly, if one were to suggest that the trio were manifesting traditional rock-music conventions, the Mob would probably get annoyed--not so much because of the inaccurate gauging of genre but more because the Glitch Mob have made copious attempts to shun convention within their music. So Cal electronic experimentalists The Do Lab announced the line-up of their annual Lightning In A Bottle campout/festival/freakscene taking place May 28-31 in Irvine California. Headlining the event is German house daddies Booka Shade along with Adam Freeland, Nosaj Thing, The Album Leaf, Apparat and a few dozen more.
