The lovely music obsessed do-gooders at dublab want to give you a present for supporting them.

A decade’s a long time to do anything, but a decade of broadcasting intelligent, (sometimes) experimental music is kinda like working in dog years. So, really, they’re 70. And for any 70 year old to compile and upload all of this music is impressive.

Daedelus, Ghislian Poirer come to SF

LA based beat composer Alfred Daedelus Darling teamed up with Ghislian Poirer to bring a night of heavy basslines and dizzying drums to Mighty SF. Check out Daedelus, the tour is travelling all over the US. Check his myspace for shows in a city near you.

Dntel pumps out free track

In a news post he promises to try to add one unfinished or unreleased track each month, starting with an unused instrumental from the making of his most recent album Dumb Luck. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but at this price who’s complaining.

Snag the free track here and read the full message from Mr. Tamborello below.

Revisiting his Dntel moniker, Dumb Luck is nine tracks of somberness, shared with all the cool sad kids. Brooklyn freak-folks Grizzly Bear hang out on 'To a Fault,' oddly harmonizing over soft acoustic strumming before the indietronics of Lali Puna'and especially lead ...
