Jazzy Jeff Booted Off Stage For Playing Hip-Hop

On Saturday, Jun 6th, DJ Z-Trip performed at the Power & Light District in Kansas City, followed by DJ Jazzy Jeff, then MSTRKRFT. That evening, Jeff’s set was unexpectedly cut short by the venue. While speculation continues as to the reasoning behind this action, Z-Trip was present at the time of the debated incident.

NBA All-Star Weekend – ‘Quest For G’

NBA All-Star Weekend has already kicked off and Gatorade’s “Quest For G” campaign has the behind the scenes look at the parties of the All-Star Weekend!! The first video installment features the EA Sports NBA Late Night Lounge party where DJ Jazzy Jeff got down on the tables, and NBA players Danny Granger, Al Hortford and Jameer Nelson attended.

Also, Gatorade’s website MissionG, where all the videos are hosted, will be dontaing a dollar to charity for every hit on the site throughout the weekend! So make sure to hit up the website!!

We wanted to give a sincere congrats to New York’s Crooklyn Clan for surviving 15 years in the game. In ’93, DJ Riz and DJ Sizzahandz released their first single on Nervous Records and a year later, blew up New York with “Be Faithful” a track still heard at virtually every social event imaginable.
