Die Antwoord, Azari + III, Tiga, Seth Troxler :: Sonar Announces U.S. Tour

Sonar, the venerable Barcelona festival that has been presenting edgy electronic music and art since 1994, has announced its first full tour of the US. After previous one-off stops in NYC and Chicago, Sonar will take to the road, hitting seven major cities kicking off Oct 31 in Chicago. As you’d expect from Sonar, the line-up is forward thinking dance music, from the live acts Die Antwoord, Azari + III and Berlin’s Paul Kalkbrenner, to DJs Tiga, Seth Troxler, Nic Fanciulli and Gesaffelstein. It should be one hell of a party. Dates after the jump. …MORE

Dave 1 x Haze Coachella Conversation (Video)

I guess when your festival sells out in a record breaking five days, you’ve got a little time on your hands. So what do the guys at Coachella do? They start up a cool little series of video vingettes featuring past Coachella performers chatting to other cool folks. They’ve already gotten Z-Trip hanging with Shepard Fairey, and Die Antwoord rapping with Santino Rice. The third episode features Chromeo‘s Dave 1 getting deep into the history of hip-hop with legendary ’80s rap art director Eric Haze.

Review: Skrillex @ Roseland Ballroom (Video & MP3)

Deadmau5 is currently in the process of taking over New York via a 3-night, sold-out stint at Roseland Ballroom. Music Video: Die Antwoord, “Evil Boy” (Video)

icon surprised Music Video: Die Antwoord, Evil Boy was my reaction to this song, the video was great and all-eyes for nipples, plenty of penises, power play-but this Diplo collabo track is just incredible! It isn’t everyday I literally have to replay a video over and over again to try to analyze the lyrics nor do I just want to keep watching the video over and over. Only Die Antwoord can make something so sexy so grimy, so unappealing yet so erotic. This video may be NSFW for many of you but this is tame compared to most of Madonna’s videos from her Erotica album. You can catch Die Antwoord in a city near you this fall. [Video P4K]
