Amsterdam Dance Event wrapped up on Sunday, with a record breaking 200,000 visitors who came from all over the EU and beyond to celebrate every shade of dance music played by 1,700 artists in 75 venues across the city. With less than a month before it’s debut, the New York edition of Electric Daisy Carnival has announced it’s line-up, including headliners Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Steve Angello, Richie Hawtin and Fatboy Slim. Promoters Insomniac have taken a page from their lead rival, Ultra Music Festival, in giving UK superstar Carl Cox his own stage to curate, which will feature John Digweed, Seth Troxler and an apparently not so retired Danny Tenaglia.
