Cleveland-born, Los Angeles-based producer/drummer Jovan ‘J-1′ Coleman has passed away in Sweden. The music world was shocked yesterday at the sudden death of DJ Mehdi. And while hundreds of his peers expressed their personal and public grief via Twitter, Dam-Funk hit the studio and recorded this mournful 12-minute tribute to the French jock who was taken at the age of 34.
