Surely you must know Paul Johnson, non? He is only one of the DJ’s named in Daft Punk’s “Teachers” as well as a house legend. Well it seems like this House head is releasing new material on Sonrisa Records. According to his facebook fan page, Paul has two new tracks “Everybody Go Crazy” and “Tu Sonrisa Dub”. If this doesn’t make you squeal maybe I should pinch you. Listen to “Tu Sonrisa Dub” on Paul’s soundcloud. In the meantime I’m going to go jack my body…
We’ve never really understood the point of tracklist announements. It just seems like fodder someone came up with during the salad days of music blogging when there wasn’t a hundred other web-ready leaks, streams, viral clips and re-Tweets to fill the Internuts with. Now it just seems quaint.
But still, no denying the utter domiance of Daft Punk’s TRON soundtrack in the 24/7 online music media cycle, so be just play along. Stare at the song titles long enough and maybe you can start to imagine what it sounds like inside the helmets. …MORE

Now we’re getting into the good stuff. Last night on BBC Radio 1, Annie Mac premiered the music from end titles of TRON Legacy, which, if you haven’t heard, was recorded by Daft Punk. At almost 3 1/2 minutes, it’s the most music we’ve heard so far from the upcoming soundtrack. Imagine “Rollin’ and Scratchin,’” the eight minute acid burner from the duo’s first album, Homework, turned into the closeing credits to a major motion picture.
There’s a running joke between my friends and I that this movie will be total nerdgasm, but if anything NOT going to see this movie based off this trailer will probably make you a watercooler outcast. So, if tickets are on sale on yet you should buy some, no one wants to be left out. Also love those communion like suits Daft Punk is wearing in the video.
