Crystal Castles have settled into the studio, this time in Poland, to record their third album. Following their self-titled 2010 release, the new record is due out sometime this summer. The album will be released through Fiction Records and while we don’t have any more details just yet, the duo has released a new video to tide fans over, directed by CC’s own Ethan Kath. HEALTH has also remixed the song, which is available for free download now.

Ultra Music Festival has announced the initial batch of performers for their annual dance music bachannal in Miami, including easily the three biggest names in dance music—Deadmau5, David Guetta, Tiësto—to headline the event’s first three-day party. Also on the bill are global dance faves The Chemical Brothers, Benny Benassi and Sander Kleinenberg (performing an unusual live set). When you really think about it, add twenty year, 150 lbs and 18-inches of to Crystal Castle’s Alice Glass and you’ve basically got The Cure’s Robert Smith. So it made perfect sense when it was announced 24 hours ago that the great uncle of mope-rock would join the enfant terribles of angstlectro on a new single. The stream of the song is already up, and it features mostly Smith on vocals while Alice mumurs some backing on the chorus and producer Ethan Kath provides some seering white noise for the famed alt-rock to croon over.
