Excited to share the first official single from Sonnymoon’s upcoming self titled album being released in May.

Enjoy a stream of the song “Just Before Dawn” which includes an amazing alternative take from Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and conductor Miguel Atwood-Ferguson. Miguel’s work spans from conducing and arranging Suite for Ma Dukes, the orchestral interpretation and tribute to the late J. Dilla, Flying Lotus’s “Cosmogramma” and Thundercat’s “The Golden Age of Apocalypse” album, and others…

Flying Lotus x Thom Yorke :: Interview by Gilles Peterson

Gilles Peterson attempts to interview Flying Lotus at the Worldwide Awards following the LA producers double win for Album of the Year (for Cosmogramma) and Session of the Year. Then Thom Yorke, rocking his best newspaper boy look, takes over the proceedings. Schizophrenically experimental, noise, shoegaze, punk with some good old-fashioned rock n’ roll sprinkled throughout for good measure, forward-sounding Los Angeles natives No Age outperform themselves in their bright and stellar (in both the judgmental sense as well as stylistically in the sense of the intergalactic and interplanetary) third record Everything in Between (the first two were a compilation of collected singles on 2007’s Weirdo Rippers and their 2008 record, Nouns). A unique and energetic outfit, No Age sound like an upgraded, modified and well-kept out of date machine. With ...
