This weekend, LA house institution Deep spins the turntables one last time before going on an indefinite break this Sunday. Founded by Los Angeles mainstay house DJ Marques Wyatt in the tiny confines of the legendary Viper Room, Deep has grown into a weekly megaclub-sized (on a Sunday no less) and has welcomed a generation of American house DJs to it’s decks. Last week we showed you a few Medicom toys dropping from colette in France. We said we would keep our eyes peeled and we have found more. Make the jump for full photos of all the characters.
How did we almost miss this dropping on Oct 1st?
“Working alongside Medicom Toy once again, Hong Kong-based SILLY THING preview their upcoming Kubrick release featuring prolific French duo Daft Punk. The set, curated by TK, will come in Medicom’s 1000% scale with a release date slated for Oct 1st, 2009 at coolcats.fr and at the THINK SILLY Store. Other participating retailers for the project include Joyce Hong Kong, Dover Street Market, colette, Surrender, and Contemporary Fix. Retail is set at 12,800 HKD.”
