Though not an official Clipse release, Pusha T of the cocaine-rap guru has announced a new mixtape featuring his partner in rhyme slangin’ Malice and Ab-Liva (ie— Re-Up Gang). This in addition to a G.O.O.D. Music compilation and a proper solo album slated for release this year. No word on when we can actually expect Long Live The Caine, as Pusha says, “I’m definitely not just going to throw something out there so people can tear it apart.” But from this point on, we’ll be jonesing for it.
With all the buzz that’s accompanied Odd Future this year, it was inevitable that the suddenly famous Tyler the Creator would end up meeting a whole lot of celebrities (Justin Bieber!?) But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have time for real hip-hop, as proven by this new track with Pusha T of Clipse, “Trouble On My Mind.”
The tune is off of Pusha’s first solo release, Fear Of God Part 2: Let Us Pray, coming August 23rd on G.O.O.D. Music / Decon / Re-Up Gang. You can stream it over at Red Bull USA.

The new imprint is coming strong in June with a trifecta of forceful releases: the Dutch project (Stoupe & Liz Fullerton, perhaps the strongest record of the three), another Reef The Lost Cauze solo joint and this the first solo effort from label founder Vinnie Paz, surprisingly devoid of JMT producer Stoupe's beats. In any scenario, Philly is firmly on the topographical map again.
