Raaaaaaaandy & Dave Sitek – “Annnnnnnngry” (w/RZA) (MP3)

First track from Aziz Ansari + TV on the Radio collab

Here’s the first track off of the new mixtape by Dave Sitek of TV on the Radio and funny person Aziz Ansari (aka Raaaaaaaandy). Why are they angry? Apparently no one sent them verses for their mixtape? Who are they angry at? How about Cudi, Jay-Z, Luda, Drake, Clipse, Mos Def, Kanye and MF Doom. Biggest surprise? Aziz does a pretty good Marshall Mathers double-time rap (my wife even asked “Why are you listening to Eminem this early in the morning?”)

Clipse “Freedom” (Video)

Latest single of Til The Casket Drops, “Freedom,” is directed by Shomi for Illusive Media / Re-Up Gang Films. There’s footage of Biggie and his funeral in this, and if you don’t know the track, it’s a true confessional.

Clipse – Fresh to Death (Video)

Thank God for the Clipse because they have been holding down the two-dope-rappers niche like nobody else.  With names like “Pusha” and “Malice,” it is easy to jump to conclusions and say that Clipse aren’t for the kids but here at URB, we always look before we leap. We caught up with one half of the powerhouse group (Malice) to talk  Til The Casket Drops, what fuels classics and why Malice’s new book will probably give kids some much-needed insight.
