The Muppets x Cee Lo (minus Cee Lo) in “Forget You” (Video)

Remember when the Muppets performed with Cee Lo Green and Gwyneth Paltrow at the 2011 Grammys. Now, the Muppets have done it again with this exclusive collaboration with Cee Lo Green …. oh wait, no, I’m sorry, apparently Cee Lo Green was late to the recording studio so he was replaced him with the best breasts in the music industry. Ladies and gentlemen, performing “Forget You” is none other then the great, the sexy, the”Princesses of Poultry” themselves, Camilla and the Chickens!!!!

Lollapalooza 2011 – The Final Report (Review & Gallery)

Not going to go in our reporting took a bit longer than the rest (servers down!). But here’s one last look.

Lollapalooza 2011 Review

Twenty years ago, adding the suffix “-palooza” to anything was unheard of. Today, it’s become a common term for anything explosive, peculiarly large or dynamic (examples: couchapalooza – amazing discounts at a local furniture store, or pptpalooza.net a website with loads of power point templates).  In true form, this year’s Lolla crowd was the largest ever (90,000 per day) to flood into the gates of Grant Park.

CunninLynguists @ El Rey Theatre 05/20/11 (Live Review)

Being a long time fan of the CunninLynguists since their debut record Will Rap for Food, and surprisingly having never seen their live show, I had huge expectations coming into this performance.   Rocking with rapper Homeboy Sandman, Blue Sky Black Death, and affiliate and often-collaborator Tonedeff (pictured below), the CunninLynguists had quite a bit of opening performers to ready up the crowd. Given the departure of one of the Lynguists’ members—the always ill Mr. S.O.S. (departed half a decade ago but still on the QN5 label)—left CunninLynguists with Natti, Deacon and Kno with DJ Flip Flop spinning the mentals on his Serato …

10 Decent Albums By Great Bands in 2010

With the year wrapping up, lists have been dominating the music blogoshere. Of course, everyone wants to give their top 10 list of faves. And more than a few sites have been happy to share their least liked albums of 2010. But thinking about how ’10 really played out, it seems like more than anything there was a lot of excellent acts who released albums that were decent, but just didn’t live up to past achievements. A great many of these albums actualy ended up on Year’s Best lists, but mostly because there wasn’t a whole lot of other fantastic albums to overshadow them. But you know when the Decade’s Best lists start coming in nine year, most of these efforts will be relegated to the back of the list (if …
