Canadian electropop duo Woodhands are geared up to release a follow-up to their 2008 full-length Heart Attack, with a progression of their synth and rhythm-based tracks of lyrical power. Remorscecapade, their sophomore effort will be released sometime in February 2010 through Paper Bag Records. They’ve graced us with an exclusive new track for download, entitled “Pockets”.

With the ever abundant amount of billboards we have you think we might be able to come up with something similar to what is now going on in Toronto, Canada. I think the Canadians might be onto something here in they way they support art in their public spaces. (Or would like to)
I recently watched 2 fellow artists try and catalogue all the public art in Knoxville, TN… why you ask? Because the city has no public arts funding and had very little clue as to what they actually owned. Funny that.
Now, it would be easy to rack it up in your head and say, “Oh well, that is the south for you.” but the fact is that every metropolitan city in the state had the budget for arts but not K-Vegas. …
CFCF, unmasked!
Even if you haven’t heard his music, chances are you’ve seen the images on a music blog; a red masked figure with wide white eyes contrasted by a black or blurred background. They’ve been inescapable presence over the past year and a half making Continent, the debut full length from Mike Silver’s CFCF alter ego, the musician they represent an inescapable presence. The only thing is, that isn’t Silver behind the mask.
