un[be]known #001: Illum Sphere & Octo Octa – December 15

On December the 15th, become part of an exciting new series of parties taking off in Brooklyn as a celebration of the darker side of electronic music. Mysterious resident curator and DJ Sheepshead has already attracted the likes of Illum Sphere and Octo Octa to headline its inaugural event. Illum Sphere is landing in Brooklyn after a two-year hiatus, following signing to Ninja Tune for his forthcoming LP and a stellar release on Young Turks. With such impeccable recent releases as well as his reputation holding the Hoya:Hoya parties in the UK, his upcoming appearance at un[be]known is definitely noteworthy. 100% Silk artist Octo Octa has recently relocated to New York City from New Hampshire, and is preparing to showcase another side of his work in a special techno-oriented set. His unique take on house caught our attention before, so we’re excited to see what he’ll do this time in this 100% live set.

Un[be]known kicks off on December 15th at Cameo Gallery (93 N 6th St, Brooklyn). You can get tickets in advance for $12, or $15 at the doors.
