Prince Zimboo, pictured above in full royal regalia and incongruously holding a small plastic crocodile, is fast becoming known to many as the ‘African Borat’ and has the vocal stylings to match, but it’s his witty wordplay and downright hilarious raps that have had him quickly garnering attention from keen ears across the interweb and teaming up with MIA and Major Lazer.
Here he gets “Zimboouicy” on a cover of Biggie’s “Juicy” that will have the purists crying ‘Sacrilege!’ and the rest of us wondering if this really isn’t just Weird Al Yankovic territory but with better branding. Still, it’s bagloads of fun.
