Nas x Nardwuar (Video)

I dunno why Nas gets so creeped out, but Nardwuar is able to ramble through the emcee’s career while making mention of everyone from Olu Dara to Main Source. There’s nothing too revealing here, but it’s all entertainment.

Why Is MIA Beefing With Jack Black?

Tags:

MIA seems to have a problem with Tenacious D, who replaced the Beastie Boys at this weekend Outside Lands festival in San Francisco. The outspoken singer posted on her Twitter “CANT BELIEVE THEY REPLACED BEASTIES WITH TENACIOUS D ??????????????????????AND IF I PULL OUT THEY SUE! SO REALLY? TENACIOUS D AFTER ME ?”

She immediately continued to gripe “SO ME AND JACK BLACK ARE BACK TO BACK, BEASTIES GET WELL SOON!”

Does Maya have personal beef wth Black? Did she ask to play after TD and was denied? The whole thing seems a little diva, but will certainly be fun if it continues.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs live @ T In The Park (Video)

Lollapalooza is rapidly approaching, and although I am a bit upset about the Beastie Boys‘ cancellation on the Chicago Festival (although it is definitely necessary, and I wish Adam Yauch good health and a speedy recovery), I am fairly excited one of my favorite live bands has stepped in to fill the void: The Yeah Yeah Yeahs. If you want to get an idea of the sheer magnitude of a YYY performance, check out this clip of the guys performing @ T In The Park.

And if you’re in town for Lolla, don’t forget to head over to URB’s kick-ass after-parties, featuring Kid Cudi, Amazing Baby, Hood Internet and many more.
