Banksy Vs. Robbo – The Battle Has Begun and Why You Should Pay Attention

We might be headed into some new found territory in the street art world.  You may have read in the last two months about a little tit for tat going on in London involving these two and a 25 year graf piece hidden away under London streets on a canal wall in Camden. We are used to graf artists battling over sides of town, trains, and great mural spots everywhere in the world.  Hell you can even find the battles splashed across the pages of magazines in your local shop these days.

This is different though.

On one hand you have the humble well established graf artist from way back in the day.  The other hand holds the political stencil writer cum gallery artist who, as it just so happens, has a bit more credit to his name and not just on …

Banksy on the Big Screen :: Exit Through The Gift Shop (Video)

This makes me want to “sing it on the mountain top” like Al Sharpton in his heyday!  What else can be said but word! Bring it on Banksy…. unless of course you are F&%$#@G with us like you do governments and corporations.  If so we might just have to drop you off at Robbo’s house for a lesson in manners!  I say bring it as this looks far too good to be a hoax.

Mister Cartoon x G-Shock

G-Shock’s new collaboration with premier artist Mister Cartoon, the DW6900MRC-8 model, was unveiled last weekend at SA Studios in downtown LA to a crowd buzzing with anticipation.

“I chose to collaborate with G-Shock because I have seen the evolution and quality of the watch evolve into an iconic brand,” said Mister Cartoon.  “Now I am excited to celebrate this relationship and launch this amazing collaboration piece to the LA market.”

Earlier this year G-Shock gave a preview of the watch by the world famous tattoo artist/car customizer/illustrator/designer at the Shock the World Tour 2009 event in NYC.
