Meet 26 year-old Nathan Hayes aka Atlantic Connection: part man, part machine. With just ten years of music-making under his belt, AC has already become a bona fide hustlin’ DJ, producer, promoter, record label owner and, until recently, maintained a full time job with MTV Networks (listen for Nathan’s tracks on MTV’s Gone Too Far and VH1’s Tough Love). Drum and Bass is his staple, but these days you can catch AC playing everything from electro house to dub to disco, and while he’s been pumping out plenty of underground LPs, mixtapes and remixes, it’s his “Cruel Rumor” collabo with MC Julz the Huntress that has kept the party scene poppin’ off in 2009.
