Typically, we like to shine a bit of a critical light on events such as EDC, mixing the best with the worst in an attempt to make things even better. But Electric Daisy Carnival has had plenty of “worsts” over the past 12 months, and with nothing but good things being reported from the event’s first foray into Las Vegas (after basicaly being kicked out of their LA home), we decided to just jot down the things that floated our boat. The anticipation is building and you heard it here, folks. Phase 2 of Ultra Music Festival 12 was just announced and it looks like the producers are pulling out all the stops to bring the absolute best of the best in electronic dance music. With the festival just over 40 days away, we can only imagine what surprises they have up their sleeves.
This year’s UMF represents one of the strongest and most diverse electronic line-ups ever assembled with the addition of collaborators Damian Marley & Nas, Faithless Sound System, Groove Armada Live, Will.I.Am and ummm..Little Boots. And that’s just the beginning.
