Well, here’s Lolla’s attempt to hold down the hipsterness of Chicago this summer. It’s a strong lineup with tons of recognizable bands, but I’m not convinced it’s the festival of the summer. It seems relatively run-of-the mill, but I will say that New York’s Los Amigos Invisibles will be totally cool to see and they bring some much needed alternative flair.

In an interview with BBC 6music, Marcus Mumford of Mumford and Sons revealed that Markus Dravs is working with Arcade Fire on the highly-anticipated follow-up to 2007’s Neon Bible. Dravs worked on the previous record, and has been in the studio for about six months working on the new one.
Mumford told the BBC: “I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this but yeah, he’s working on the next Arcade Fire record at the moment. I’m sure that’s public knowledge, because he’s been there for about six months.” …MORE
