A$AP Rocky appeared on the Late Show With David Letterman last night to promote his major label debut, Long.Live.A$AP. Performing the title track while sitting alone on a throne, things get lively around the 2:35 mark when the seat pulls away to reveal DJs A-Trak and Clark Kent, along with MPC master Araabmuzik who go absolutely buck wild on the beat. How wild did they get? When the song ends, even the usually subdued Letterman can’t hide his excitement. Check it.

NYC based accessories brand FLuD and world renown artist Ron English have teamed up to bring Ron’s work onto his latest canvas, a FLUD watch. The accessories and art worlds collide on this collaboration featuring Ron’s interpretation of the world’s mod recognizable vigilante martial arts reptiles: the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
To commemorate the collaboration, which hits stores this Holiday season, we’re pleased to preview the goods at the OFFICIAL party of the Magic/S.L.A.T.E. Tradeshow.
The celebration takes place on Tuesday, August 21st. Held at the exclusive Haze Nightclub @ the Aria, the event is sponsored by Hennessy, and our friends at Karmaloop, and not to be missed.

Well, it came and went just like that. CMJ 2011 was an interesting marathon of music and events to say the least, sprouting sprinkles of interesting parties, media-sponsored bonanzas that were “too exclusive” for other outlets to cover, and showcases that covered acts in the worlds of hip-hop, indie and trash maybe all too much. While CMJ was business as usual for some media (and of course college radio stations), it provided a very sobering look into how things have changed for the marathon festival. Whether it be the economy or the current musical business climate, CMJ did feel more segmented than ever before. Regardless, there were some definite highlights and lowlights from the fest. URB is entering the belly of the beast that is New York City’s CMJ this week with massive excitement and pseudo-lofty expectations. With what seems like thousands of acts coming to NYC to strut their stuff, one has to wade through all the calamity to find the acts that are truly bringing about proper buzz. So it might take ages to find that awesome DJ, that crazy live performance artist, or that freakishly impressive indie band, but after some fine-tooth combing, but in due time it’ll all be revealed. Flud Watches presents the eight and final “Beats Per Minute” video featuring MPC Master AraabMUZIK in celebration of their “BPM” watch as part of their new summer collection. The “Beats Per Minute” Video Series showcases some of hip hop’s most influential producers highlighting their craft, while discussing changes in the game, crate diggin’, equipment and their advise to the new generation.
This final episode is showcases AraabMUZIK doing what he does best on the MPC. No interview, just a straight performance video of him getting busy.
