Brooklyn psych-rock darlings Amazing Baby took some time last weekend at Lollapalooza to perform an acoustic verson of “Headdress” for Spin, and they sound incredible! Recently, I caught the end of the band’s live set, and the more I hear from them, the more I like. [Spin Magazine]

Lollapalooza is rapidly approaching, and although I am a bit upset about the Beastie Boys‘ cancellation on the Chicago Festival (although it is definitely necessary, and I wish Adam Yauch good health and a speedy recovery), I am fairly excited one of my favorite live bands has stepped in to fill the void: The Yeah Yeah Yeahs. If you want to get an idea of the sheer magnitude of a YYY performance, check out this clip of the guys performing @ T In The Park.

Here’s the version of Amazing Baby’s “Headdress” video featuring lots of topless and mostly body-painted hipster models in the woods. Not bad, especially with the song’s “More Than I’m Feeling” inspired dual guitar lines at the end.
