Exile & Johaz, as Dag Savage, are releasing their “E&J” album tomorrow, February 4th via Exile’s Dirty Science imprint. After bringing fans classics like Blu & Exile’s “Below the Heavens” and Fashawn’s “Boy Meets World,” Exile now works his production magic with Johaz under the group name Dag Savage. “E&J” is entirely produced by Exile and features guest appearances from Aloe Blacc, Blu, Fashawn and others.
Today, enjoy an early full album stream of “E&J” and make sure to pick up the album tomorrow.
I’ve been a fan of Blu ever since “Below The Heavens.” Today, the rapper released an EP with another very talented producer by the name of Nottz. Featuring Nitty Scott MC, Versis, Scienze, ANTHM along with some of my favorite indie rappers such as Homeboy Sandman and Sene, the six track project is currently available for full stream.
One of Oxnard, CA’s finest, MED, is proud to share some outtake material from his 2010 Stones Throw album “Classic” which was entirely produced by Madlib. For one reason or the other, these songs never made the final cut of the album, so MED is releasing these never heard before songs for the public today. These 7 ‘outtake’ songs are entirely produced by Madlib featuring guest appearances from Aloe Blacc, Oh No, Steve Arrington and others.
In addition to the “Classic” Outtakes, enjoy the live session video of MED performing “MEDical Card” alongside the band Balance and The Traveling Sounds and J. Rocc, which the original studio recording was taken from MED’s 2010 album “Classic.”
